Online Training Now Available!

Online training is cost effective and often times can produce better results than in person training. The biggest reason is I personally monitor all your workouts for the week! Instead of just seeing you 1-3 times per week.

It isn’t for everyone. Some people need me physically there. However, almost everyone that has tried it as loved it! So much so, that most of my clients are now fully online clients. If you are local we can do monthly meet ups or mix it up with online and in person sessions to get the best of both worlds. I like to call this Hybrid Fitness Training.

I even use an app where we can communicate 24/7, log your workouts, progress charts, nutritional tracking, video demonstrations, progress pictures and a bunch of other really cool features!


About Me

Hi, and welcome to Optimized Fitness. I’m Nathan Robinson, a certified personal trainer that services Hunterdon County. I provide in home personal training sessions, online training and sessions at a fitness studio. For in-home you never have to leave the comfort of your home! I bring everything you need for a quality workout.

No matter what your goal, whether it be getting toned, losing fat, building some muscle, or just plain getting fit I will help you get there. I sincerely want to help you change your life for the better!

I live near Clinton, NJ but will travel to most of Hunterdon County. 

My “Job” is Awesome!

I honestly think I have one of the most amazing jobs in the world. The best feeling I get is when a client comes up to me explaining that they can fit into those jeans they always wanted to with a huge smile on their face. Or coming up to me saying their self confidence has gone through the roof. These are just a few examples, but it is an amazing feeling to change someones life and that is what I strive for.

My Personal Transformation

When I was about 15 years old I was very skinny. I was always athletic and played sports but when I hit high school I was tiny. I weighed about 95 pounds and to give you and idea of how weak I was I could only bench press 70 pounds. I actually got made fun of for it and it was a terrible feeling. I was sick and tired of being the skinny kid so I started lifting weights and really got into it. I trained and entered various powerlifting competitions. In powerlifting you lift bench, squat, and deadlift. You compete against other people to see who can lift the most weight. I entered three competitions, got first in 2 and tied for first the third. While training I started to see some improvement in my body.

I started getting compliments left and right “Man you are looking good!” “Have you been lifting?” It felt so great and I believe that is when I thought to myself I could see myself doing this as a career. I want people to get that feeling that I did. To get the compliments and feel so much better about themselves. Fitness is my passion. It is the profession I want to be in for the rest of my life. Here are some before and after photos (and a a hair cut!).

They get embarrassed or frustrated. I went through the same thing when I first started. I know how it feels. After years and years of training and research I have the knowledge to get you where you want to be.

I wont be mean, or yell in your face like a drill sergeant but I will motivate you and make sure you get the most out of your workouts.

A lot of trainers wont actually show you how to workout and sustain a healthy lifestyle because they want to keep you as clients. I would love to keep you as a client but also want you to have the ability to workout on your own.

Online training comes out to be quite a bit cheaper than in home training. I will honestly say that it usually produces better results as well. This is dependent on if you can exercise on your own without me being there. I have an app where you have 24/7 contact with me and have your entire workouts for the week.
